As a Senior .NET Developer you will serve as a member of a well-established Software Development Team responsible for developing and maintaining web based applications in support of unmanned rocket launches from the Eastern Range (Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, FL) and the Western Range (Vandenberg Air Force Base, CA):
Primary Duties and
Essential Functions:
Assists Project Managers, Software Architects, and other Application Developers in requirements gathering, analysis, design, and project planning for software application development
Develops and implements web parts and customization of SharePoint Sites leveraging Visual Studio and .NET technologies to include non-standard functionality
Implements new features and optimizes existing functionality in applications based on business requirements
Develops and implements test plans for new and existing applications/functionality based on requirements
Develops and maintains project plans, requirements and design documents, and other system documentation
Develops and maintains work procedures and instructions
Basic
Qualifications:
Requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent combination of education and technical experience
Requires a minimum of 5 years experience developing software applications with Microsoft Visual Studio.
Requires current Security
or CISSP certification or be able to obtain and maintain one of these certifications within 6 months of employment.
Requires significant recent experience with the following:
.NET 4.x Framework (C#, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, VB.NET)
HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery
Web Services (RESTful or Web API), XML
SQL Server 2008/2012 (T-SQL Query, Stored Procedure development and optimization)
Requires experience with defect tracking processes and tools, and with source code version control processes and tools.
Requires solid understanding of object-oriented programming in an n-tier architecture.
Requires significant recent experience with three or more of the following:
Team Foundation Server
Windows Presentation Foundation
AngularJS
SharePoint 2013
Entity Framework
Service Oriented Architecture
Agile methodologies
Telerik Controls
Must possess the following qualities:

Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship or U.S. Naturalization.
Valid U.S. driver's license is required.
College Degrees must come from a school that is accredited in the discipline of the degree to be considered.
