Job Description/Position
Responsibilities:
As a member of the Launch Control System (LCS) development team, this individual will be responsible for conducting requirements analysis, design, implementation, and software testing. This position is a hands on software developer. The developer will work in a software development lifecycle as defined in the LCS Software Development Plan (SDP).
Required Skills/Special Training:
Candidate will perform as a software engineer on a team developing a large scale Command and Control system for both launch and vehicle processing. Job duties include design, development, integration, testing and documentation of software components for customized Software Applications. C+
and/or Java experience is required. Experience in Unix, Object Oriented design tools, and Configuration Management is a plus.
Education/Years of
Experience:
The candidate must hold a Bachelor's degree in a related technical field, (e.g. Computer Science, Physics, Aerospace, etc.) plus a minimum of 10 years of related experience.
Software Engineer 5 requires a minimum of 10 years of related experience.
Software Engineer 6 requires a minimum of 15 years of related experience.
College Degrees must come from a school that is accredited in the discipline of the degree to be considered and 2-4 years related experience. 4 years of related experience is equivalent to a bachelor's degree.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
