CHSi has a part time opening for an IT Help Desk Intern role to work in our corporate headquarters in Cape Canaveral, FL. This role will work 40 hours per week.
SCOPE:
The IT Help Desk Intern is responsible for providing and or supporting technical assistance to computer system users by answering questions or resolving computer problems for clients in person, via telephone, in person or from a remote location. May also provide assistance concerning the use of computer hardware and software, including printing, installation, word processing, electronic mail, and operating systems.
Qualifications:
Intern must be actively enrolled in some form of accredited higher education. This includes programs provided by universities, vocational schools, community colleges, institutes of technology, or other organizations that awards academic degrees
Associates degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
High School Diploma or equivalent
At least two years of relevant experience preferred
Strong oral and written communication skills required with strong analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to type 40
WPM a plus
Ability to exercise good judgment and present a positive work ethic is a must
