CHSi has an opening for a Business Development Intern at our office in Cape Canaveral, FL during the summer months on a full time or part time basis.
Day in the life:
This Intern position becomes knowledgeable of and supports all activities associated with the Business Development Departments processes and functions as assigned for the analysis and research related to solicitation requirements, proposal development, review and production. This position also supports BD organization management by providing assistance with recordkeeping and with the collection of customer, business, financial, project progress, and administrative information. Provides competitive analysis and research for the Sr. VP, Business Development.
Qualifications:
Current enrollment in a Bachelors Degree program with 2-4 years relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Related administrative experience is preferred.
Must be self-starter; able to initiate and perform analytical tasks including extensive research on the Internet, and must work with minimal supervision and direction.
Job requires discretion and sensitivity to protect company proprietary and competition sensitive information in verbal or written form.
Proficiency with computer and common office equipment, as well as with MS Office products required.
Demonstrated solid excellent oral and written communication skills required.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
