OverviewFull Spectrum Operations, a joint venture between By Light Professional IT Services and American Communications Solutions is hiring talented IT professionals for the Eastern Western Operational Communications Services (EWOCS) contract at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, FL.
The Eastern and Western Ranges provide capabilities for customers to safely launch, track and recover spacelift systems as well as perform operational test missions in support of ballistic missile deployment and aircraft flight tests.
EWOCS provides communication systems maintenance, operations, and support services for voice, video, data and infrastructure yielding a robust communications capability for a wide range of customers in a dynamic launchenvironment.
ResponsibilitiesDesigns and implements Windows and Linux server and workstation technologies in response to changing customer needsImplements enterprise-level services across Windows/Linux/VMWare systems, including but not limited to:

1x MABInter-relation of DNS services across disparate authoritative zonesVMWare ESXi, vCenter, Horizon services - provisioning, system redundancy, performance, etc.

archival/removal via triggered and/or scheduled event)Periodically generates scripts (bash/sh/CMD/Python/PowerShell/etc.
) in support of specific use casesIdentifies and resolves system faults including but not limited to:
Domain controller replication faultsSQL database access faults, indexing faults, etc.
WSUS processing faultsNPS VSA-to-Device faultsNPS AAA lookup faults / policy mapping faults / template faultsinit.
d/systemd processing faultsHardens systems as appropriate, balancing customer Availability/Integrity/Confidentiality needs.
Resolves IAVA/STIG findings as appropriate, providing proper documentation and/or justification to A&A personnelConducts site surveys to determine feasibility of equipment installations (e.
g.
telecommuncations, electrical, temperature/humidity, cleanliness, space/weight, maintainability, logistical support)Monitors overall system health and advises on need for potential upgrades or reconfigurationsProvides on-site technical and operational support in the installation and operation of any/all telecommunications equipmentPeriodically reviews SIEM alerts as they relate to overall system statusPerforms troubleshooting of end user problems and responds to user requests.
